CAT excavator conversion engineering and gas-system integration.
Engineered solutions for public transportation, commercial fleets, industrial power and natural-gas vehicle platforms across international markets.
Explore natural-gas bus chassis, clean-fuel engines, commercial fleet applications and industrial dual-fuel systems developed across NGV’s international project portfolio.

NGV Motori’s TRITTON natural-gas rolling chassis program brings together the engine, transmission, chassis structure, fuel-storage system and electronic controls in a platform ready for integration with bus bodies. Developed for public transportation applications in Colombia, the program includes engineering and supply-chain activities in Santa Marta and support for the Bogotá regional transit market.
The FPT NEF6 dedicated-CNG platform has been configured for transit applications, with approximately 230 HP and integrated high-pressure gas storage. NGV’s work encompasses powertrain installation, vehicle systems integration, electronic controls, engineering support and coordination with local partners.

NGV’s conversion experience spans school buses, municipal transportation, commuter buses and commercial passenger fleets. Projects have enabled existing diesel vehicles to be repowered for natural-gas operation, extending useful vehicle life while supporting fleet operating-cost and emissions objectives.
Engineering work includes engine-platform assessment, conversion hardware, gas delivery and storage integration, control-system calibration, vehicle validation and technician support. Applications range from individual fleet pilots to multi-vehicle programs.

NGV has engineered diesel dual-fuel solutions for commercial trucks and heavy-duty engines, enabling natural gas to replace a portion of diesel consumption while retaining diesel ignition. This approach is suited to fleets that need to preserve existing diesel assets and operate under demanding load conditions.
Projects address fuel-system integration, load-dependent substitution control, engine protection, diagnostics, commissioning and operator training. Engine selection, gas availability and duty cycle determine the achievable economic benefit.

NGV’s completed dual-fuel generator work includes Hyundai, Perkins, Cummins and other heavy-duty stationary engine platforms. Applications documented in the engineering portfolio include a Hyundai 740 kW four-stroke generator, an 800 kW dual-fuel generator, a Cummins 2,500 HP power-generation engine and multi-megawatt installations in the Dominican Republic.
Project measurements include approximately 35.7% natural-gas displacement on a Hyundai 740 kW application and approximately 45% on a separately documented Dominican Republic multi-megawatt installation. These are application-specific operating results, not uniform performance guarantees.

NGV’s engineering portfolio includes dedicated natural-gas and diesel dual-fuel applications in Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, Italy and other international markets. The work spans engine integration, conversion systems and field support across commercial and stationary platforms.
The engineering team adapts combustion and fuel-delivery strategies to the base engine, regulatory environment, operating conditions and available gas infrastructure. This experience informs NGV’s current OEM and fleet integration programs.

NGV develops and integrates engine-control strategies for natural-gas and dual-fuel operation, including gas injection control, operating-mode transitions, engine-protection logic and application-specific calibration.
For stationary DDF applications, the control architecture monitors operating conditions and can shut off gas delivery and return the engine to diesel-only operation when required. Technician tools support diagnostics, graphing and programming, with remote technical support capabilities for suitable installations.
